Specification
Requirements:
- Training plans are implemented to provide sufficient skilled workers on all crews
- Adequate multiskilling across crews is in place to allow for fatigue breaks (e.g. via job rotation) for key roles
- Crew members can relieve each other (without requiring direct supervisor instruction) to manage fatigue impacts
Implementation
- Shift crew training and assessment is executed in line with the training plan
- Workers regularly relieve one another on high fatigue tasks through the working shift
Monitoring
- Training records are kept to confirm all crews have sufficient trained and competent workers
- Supervisor records include noting worker deployments – which are reviewed by others who confirm job rotation is in place and effective
