Specification
Requirements:
- Equipment is selected or constructed that meets leading practice guidance around vibration levels
- Maintenance strategies are in place for vibration controls (including road maintenance)
- Regular monitoring of work environments includes determining worker vibration exposures
Implementation
Introduction of Equipment to site and Commissioning of a facility includes confirmation that vibration levels meet site requirements/specifications Workers are trained and assessed in the correct response to conditions that generate high levels of vibration Regular work environment monitoring is conducted in line with site requirements
Monitoring
- Training records are maintained and refresher training conducted in line with workers TNA
- Work environment monitoring data is formally reported on to senior site management for resource planning and reaction to identified non-conformances
