Expectation: Cameras provide an area view and a record of activities to allow for real time and retrospective monitoring of conditions and acts in work areas.
Specify: Where practical, in consultation with stakeholders, and in conformance with prevailing privacy requirements, cameras are specified for work areas, including:
- Fixed cameras are selected and matched to the prevailing environment conditions (light, contaminants, dust, etc.) with video feed to a central data store by relevant technical workers
- Deployed cameras and data systems are included in work area maintenance strategies which triggers raising of repeating work orders at a frequency in line with OEM and site usage experience
- Data records are accessed, reviewed and backed-up on a regular basis and as indicated by incident or hazard reports
